A proud Texas Aggie, Elizabeth L. “Betsy” Smith’s motto is “you might as well laugh as cry.” Her sense of humor is one of her unique distinctions. Betsy’s sense of humor combined with her boundless energy and her zest for life create her Executive Coaching style – fast paced, purposeful with great results, and of course, fun.

Betsy’s extensive experience as a senior administrator in a large, comprehensive community college included supervision, budget creation, budget management, and teaching.

As an Executive Leadership Coach, Betsy works with leaders who are ready to reach personal and professional goals, increase productivity and build greater team effectiveness.

Her academic credentials reflect Betsy’s flexibility. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Work from the University of Texas. Her Master’s Degree in Adult Education and her Doctorate in Organizational Leadership are from Texas A&M.

In addition to her academic credentials, Betsy is a Certified Success Coach from Success Unlimited Network and recently received her ACC from the International Coach Federation. She is also an associate of the Strategic Executive Coaching Alliance.

Leadership is Betsy’s passion. She is a graduate of Leadership Pensacola and Leadership Florida. A few of her community leadership roles include chairing the Pensacola Symphony Board, Leadership Pensacola, Health Initiatives Task Force of the Greater Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Pensacola Women’s Alliance. Betsy serves as the 2006 Lead Organizer of the Coaching Research Symposium which will be held in St. Louis, Missouri in November.
