Annemarie van der Meer, MA, PCC- is a coach with over 20 years experience. She coaches people at all levels in organizations and from different industries in Europe. Before founding her own consultancy company in 2000 she worked as a partner in two consultancy firms. She works at the interface of personal development and organizational development. The mainstay of her work is coaching executives who want to realize their potential, develop their leadership, set themselves challenging goals, respond to the stretch their organizations ask from them, are searching for meaning, make more conscious choices, improve their personal effectiveness or strengthen some of their competencies. She works with action learning groups in order to establish a learning culture in organizations. In 1995 she co-founded the Dutch Action Learning Association. She also coaches teams with a view to improving their team-spirit. Together with client organizations, she designs and implements management development programmes. Her coaching approach includes aspects from humanistic and cognitive psychology, system thinking, learning theory, group dynamics, and a concept of man based on development. She challenges clients to envision who they really want to be and what matters for them to achieve. Her style is open, direct, practical and inviting depth. Her inspiration is to support people in finding the courage to create a fulfilling life, addressing both personal and career objectives. Relating to others in this way is essential for her own fulfillment. Annemarie is also a coach trainer for managers and other coaches. She is national leader of SECA in The Netherlands and Germany and offers there in co-operation with SECA colleagues ICF Accredited Coach Training (ACTP). She holds a degree in psychology and has gone through extensive coaching training. In addition, she is qualified as a trainer in experiential learning and certified in specific HR-related instruments, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Hay’s Inventory of Leadership Styles (ILS, 360), FIRO-B. Together with Challenge Learning, she developed the feedback instruments Fundamental Leadership Survey and TeamScan. She has been accredited as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
